this article is based on a conversation that I heard during work, and is reinterpreted together with a previous work experience in Singapore. therefore, “Singapore” & “China” is a non-representative character but rather a form of perspective of each country.
 
工作是为了什么？
SG: 为了赚钱。给家人更好的生活品质。
CN: 为了家。为了生活。
 
5:30pm下班吗？
SG: 通常都无法准时下班， 为了赶紧把工作做完，然后立功，往上爬。赚更多。
CN: 若没要事，5:30pm准时下班，把时间都给了工作，那家人呢？这样何必。
 
起出大家是为了生活，赚钱养家。可是后来，想法与工作态度偏差了。
所以您工作是为了什么？

是为了亲情，为了家，还是为了钱，为了名利，为了理想？
还是为了不被取代，为了保住地位？
